SITRANS - Temperature Sensors

SITRANS TS-Temperature Sensors are the perfect basis for precise and safe temperature measurement. The RTDs and Thermocouples support a broad range of application through the process industries. In combination with the head mount transmitters they support easy system integration, local operation and monitoring with the optional integrated display.

    SITRANS TS100

    The temperature sensor line is delivered with direct connected cable. With its construction based on mineral insulated cable (MIC) supports a wide range of applications. Due to compression fittings or soldering nipples the installation is simple and flexible. With the optional surface adapter the measuring of surface temperature are supported.

    The certificate for intrinsic safety allows the operation even in Zone 0 without the need of additional thermowell. This application grands an outstanding reaction time.

    This temperature sensor line for sanitary applications provides a wide range of appropriate process connections for the classical temperature measurement. With the clamp-on temperature sensor Siemens breaks new ground. The benefits are particularly at small pipe diameters are the removal of welding and welding validation no disturbance of the process. Comparable accuracy and response time, despite piggability and simple demounting for recalibration.

    The industry-grade temperature sensor supports a wide range of measuring go from basic applications to solutions in harsh environment. A benefit for the user is the use of standard components even for individual configurations. This ensures the modular concept consisting of a barstock or tubular thermowell, extension and connection head with optional integrated transmitter or display. Version for intrinsic safety, flameproof and non sparking are available.

    • SITRANS TS Inserts

    The TS Insert is used as a spare part for the SITRANS TS500 or as component to build up complete temperature assemblies. Deliverable in European design with ceramic terminal bloc, flying leads or mounted transmitter or in American design, build up spring-loaded in the extension. SITRANS TS Insert opens a wide field for individual solutions on customer site and ensures that the special know-how will be ensured on place.
