CGS 500 Combustible Gas Sensor

The CGS500 combustible gas sensor has been designed to measure concentrations of combustible gases in the range 0-100% LEL and is fitted in an EExe certified junction box. The CGS500 sensor is available with alternative elements. The CGS500-300N is a general purpose robust sensor. The CGS500-300P has enhanced poison resistance and the CGS500-VQ41 is optimised for monitoring concentrations of ammonia and kerosene.

Features:
  • Temperature compensated
  • Low drift
  • Improved poison resistance
  • Long life
  • Fast response time
  • Rugged stainless steel sensor
  • Detects combustible gases & solvents
  • Many accessories available
  • Certified ATEX II 2 G EExd IIC T6

  • CGS 500 IR Combustible Gas Sensor

The CGS500-IR sensor is a NDIR (non dispersive infrared) sensor designed to replace thermocatalytic gas sensors for monitoring hydrocarbon gases in the range 0-100% LEL. The CGS500-IR-CO2 is available to monitor Co2 in the range 0-5% and 0-100%.

Both sensors are available as sensor only or fitted in an Exe certified junction box.

    Features:
  • Temperature compensated
  • Low drift
  • Improved poison resistance
  • Long life
  • Fast response time
  • Rugged stainless steel sensor
  • Detects combustible gases & solvents
  • Many accessories available
  • Certified ATEX II 2 G EExd IIC T6

  • Monicon S500L / S500L-IR Gas Monitor

The Monicon S500L Gas Monitor is a rugged, self-contained, intelligent gas monitor with many advanced features to provide fast, reliable warnings of combustible gas concentrations at levels below at which these gases become potentially explosive. The S500L is certified ATEX EEx’d IIc T6 Ta -20ºC to +60ºC.

The gas concentration is indicated locally on the dot-matrix LED display in the range 0-100% LEL. The S500L incorporates a 4-20mA analogue output, an RS485 interface and on-board alarm relays. The sensor is available in catalytic, semiconductor or NDIR technology.

    Features :
  • Microprocessor based
  • 4-20mA Analogue Output
  • Voltage free relay contacts
  • RS485 digital interface
  • Alphanumeric dot-matrix display
  • “One Person” calibration
  • Small size
