The successful candidate will take responsibility for the development of sales and related activities within the southwest Region of the country, covering counties Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Waterford, Tipperary and Clare. Key to the success of this role will be the development of successful relationships with a range of clients in both public and private sectors, with a focus on strong customer and product support. The successful candidate will operate remotely with occasional requirements to be present in at our offices for training and reporting purposes.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Respond to and follow up on sales enquiries by phone, in writing and/or personal visits.
  • Maintain and develop existing and new customers to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction
  • Plan and manage personal product portfolio and territory according to an agreed market development strategy
  • Manage customer requirements and expectations in line with company policy and procedures.
  • Integrate personal sales efforts with other organised marketing activities, e.g., product launches, promotions, advising and attendance at exhibitions.
  • Issue relevant sales paperwork to facilitate order processing.
  • Liaise with in-house sales support team and with other departments as necessary, to perform duties and aid business and organisational development.
  • Monitor and report on sales activities, market factors and competitor activities within the region and provide relevant information to management.
  • Plan, develop and deliver high quality product presentations to perspective customers, designers, and product specifiers.
  • Attend and contribute to company sales meetings to aid business development and planning.
  • Utilise and maintain the company CRM system ensuring accurate and complete records are kept.
  • Any other reasonable duty as requested by management.
  • Full driving license is required along with 3yrs+ proven experience in sales.
